Using the Ward Sniper Mark 3 with the Alexa Mini. The Sniper read out will now display using either the UMC4 or the L-Cube. When using the UMC4 the wireless signal is sent by the UMC4. When using the L-Cube (without the UMC4) the wireless signal is sent by the camera’s wifi.
The distance readout will display on both the Sniper handset and the WCU4 at the same time in either imperial or metric.
The same cable is used in both cases. When using the UMC4 the cable plugs into the Sniper Laser Unit and into the UMC4. When using the L-Cube the cable plugs into the Sniper Laser Unit and into the L-Cube. Three cforce mini motors can be daisy chained when using the Sniper with the L-Cube for focus, iris, and zoom. The menu option for the Ward Sniper Mark 3 is handset 2.
